Dr. Schiltz was born and raised here in Iowa. He grew up in the small town of Bancroft, IA where he worked in their family business, participated in high school sports, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and camping with his family.
After completing his undergraduate studies, Dr. Schiltz attended Palmer College of Chiropractic where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1993. Dr. Schiltz started practicing Airport Chiropractic in 1994.
Since that time, he has been serving the families of Des Moines and surrounding communities. He enjoys caring for patients of all ages from infants to seniors. Dr. Schiltz has worked with athletes at all levels; high school, college, and professional. He also works with patients with car accidents, work injuries, and the stresses and strains of everyday life. Regardless of what a patient is suffering with or how it happened, Dr. Schiltz has helped many patients with similar problems in his 20+ years of practice.
Dr. Schiltz and his wife, Lori live in Norwalk and have four children.
Lori was raised on the south side of Des Moines and went to St. Anthony’s and Dowling. She attended C. T. program at Palmer College of Chiropractic and graduated in 1989. She has worked in the chiropractic profession since she graduated. She works with her husband, Dr. Tom Schiltz, and has since 1994. Dr. Schiltz and Lori have children between the ages of 17 and 21.
Stacy joined Airport Chiropractic in 2000. She and her husband, Andy, live in Norwalk and have 2 children ages 10 and 14. Her children have been patients since birth. Dr. Schiltz’s techniques have helped her family and her with everything from colic to inner ear infections to sports injuries.
